Inspired shots, Vietnam

Wandering around Nha Trang it was clear that Long Thanh has influenced many other local photographers, his atmospheric black and white shots being echoed in many other shops and galleries in town. Still using traditional darkroom techniques his work has grown way beyond this small town and recognised by numerous international accolades throughout his career.

Trying my best to blend in and get some natural looking shots, I put on my friendliest face and with equal measures of patience, positivity and persistence, gave it my best shot!

Sadly we forget to pack the darkroom, but digital photography to the rescue, I loaded up a suitably moody post-processing setting and these were the results...
